Description

In a heated exchange of words, Jarrell Miller didn't hold back his thoughts about his upcoming opponent, Daniel Dubois, as he publicly stated, "Thank you, Daniel Dubois, for being the dummy to sign the contract, because I’m gonna beat yo’ ass." Known for his brazen statements, Miller, a native of Brooklyn, New York, didn't mince words when sizing up his adversary.

The outspoken Miller, 35, continued his verbal onslaught, stating, "There’s a saying we have in New York, we smell bitch in him. Once the bitch is in you, it ain’t going nowhere." Unapologetically critical, he highlighted Dubois' previous bouts, emphasizing moments where he believed Dubois showed vulnerability.

"Look, he quit against Joe Joyce. He got beat up and knocked out by a jab by [two-division champ Oleksandr] Usyk. Those are small guys. Well, Joyce is big but he ain’t Big Baby big," Miller continued, dissecting Dubois' past performances.

Dubois, 19-2 with 18 knockouts, faced adversity in his fight against Joyce in November 2020, emerging victorious but sustaining a badly swollen eye. Despite the injury, Dubois secured notable wins, including a fourth-round knockout of undefeated Trevor Bryan, securing the WBA "Regular" heavyweight title in Miami, Florida.

Meanwhile, Miller, with a 26-0-1 record and 22 knockouts, is on a trajectory to establish himself further in the heavyweight division. His comeback, following a 43-month absence due to drug test scandals, has seen a triumphant return with a 3-0 record. With victories over Lucas Browne and discussions around a Mahmoud Charr challenge, Miller chose to pivot towards a high-stakes matchup against Dubois.

Confident in his abilities, Miller affirmed, "When you’re fighting a mean guy who’s throwing 80 punches a round, got a good chin, come forward and don’t quit… I’m kicking his ass and sending him to early retirement. Plain and simple."

As the clash between Miller and Dubois nears, their war of words has set the stage for a highly anticipated showdown, promising fireworks both inside and outside the ring.

Daniel Dubois faces a Jarrell Miller who has questioned his heart and will.
